Showing some development now, the 1990 Bin 707 remains a very concentrated, powerful wine.  Dark berry, blackcurrant, mocha, cigar box and plum aromas, which follow through on the palate.  Still plenty of acidity giving the wine lovely freshness, with powerful, fine-grained tannins coating the mouth.  Very long finish, with a touch of tea leaf and sage.  Very impressive, with years to go still.  95 points, drink now to 2035 (October 2017).
