A blend of 91.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7.5% Merlot, and 0.5% each of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, with around 10,000 cases produced.

Very fine aromas, showing a hint of oak with plenty of blackberry and currants.  The wine is very fine and extremely tightly wound, with lovely ripe fruit somewhat subdued presently by the huge, but extremely fine, tannic structure.  This is very a complex, almost monolithic wine that will age superbly for generations.  96 points, drink 2026 - 2056.  (April 2010).
