A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc, around 7,000 cases produced.

Beautiful dark and almost brooding aromas of minerals, earth, plum, cherry and cassis.  Impressive density and volume on the palate, yet remaining very vibrant and fresh, with plenty of fine tannins and bright acidity.  Lovely leafy, tobacco and cigar box notes.  Very complex already, with a lengthy, satisfying finish.  95 points, drink 2016 to 2040 (April 2010).
