2010 was a warm vintage allowing fully ripe grapes to produce wines akin to the region's greatest vintages - weighty and powerful with a razor sharp refined nose.

Montrose themselves describe the grapes used to make this wine as having "perfect" maturity and tannin, and while we don't want to appear too hyperbolic in these blurbs, it is hard to argue with that one.

In 2010, Chateau Montrose was 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot.
