Domaine Leroy (pronounced Leh-WAH) is one of those truly iconic domaines in Burgundy, and in its stable is the distinct and rare Aligoté.

Certified biodynamic since 1989, this wine - like all from the domaine - are a special expression of place showing infinite concentration and razor sharp finesse.

Once a lauded negociant house selling fruit to the world's most collectable wine Domaine de la Romanée Conti, Maison Leroy went on their own path in the late 1980s with Madame Lalou Bize-Leroy at the helm, immediately converting the vineyards to biodynamic practices - one of the first in Burgundy to do so.

This wine is all about an intense, flinty minerality with a complex spectrum of apples and white flowers dominating the nose and a fine, textural palate from the lees work.
