Isole e Olena's 'Cepparello' is their premium bottling and we're very excited to have this back vintage on offer from 2017.

The Chianti producer's top wine is made from 100% Sangiovese - something once considered daring and outrageous in the region as most people needed accessory grapes like Canaiolo to give it some body.

The team at Isole e Olena eschewed tradition, realising you could make a wine of exceptional quality with careful grape selection in the vineyard, and barrel selection in the winery, but to this day it still carries the "lower" IGT appellation of Toscana Rosso.

Although this wine has a many years behind it already, with careful cellaring it will have many more years to come.
