From the old-vine vineyards of Ebenezer in the northern Barossa, Chris Ringland has built a reputation for making Shiraz with serious power, richness and longevity. The 2018 North Barossa is deep and brooding, packed with blackberry, blood plum and dark chocolate, with hints of liquorice, spice and subtle vanillin. Plush and generous, but held together by lovely acidity and fine tannins. Classic, big Barossa Shiraz with plenty of swagger.
