The Saxum 'Heart Stone Vineyard' release is a little different to the others. This one is more Syrah driven and contains a solid 14% whack of Touriga Nacional (most famously used in Port and table-wine Port blends).

The blend of 59% Syrah, 14% Grenache, 14% Touriga Nacional and 13% Graciano is kept on the stems and co-fermented together, offering a rich, dark-fruited, spice-laden, tannin bomb.

Unlike others, this is aged mostly in large format old oak to let the rich fruit shine through for around two years.

Like all Saxum wines, it is unfined and unfiltered.
