From a tiny, steep vineyard high in the Sierra de Gredos, Arrebatacapas is a seriously special expression of old vine Garnacha (i.e., the Spanish word for Grenache). The 2018 is vibrant and beautifully wild, bursting with red berries, sour cherry, wild herbs and white pepper, with earthy minerality, fine-grained tannins and a long, savoury finish. Powerful but elegant, with a lovely mountain freshness. Garnacha with a bit of attitude.
