Fun fact - Tinker's Field is the vineyard featured in the most famous photos of Rippon, overlooking Lake Wanaka.  The vines have been organic since planting (first plantings in 1981), managed biodynamically since 2003, and are planted on the north-facing, heavy schist soils.

Stunning style, fine and delicate, with a beautiful balance of fruit and tannins.  Loads of red and dark berry fruits, plenty of fresh acidity, and a terrific length of finish.  So pleasurable.  95 points, drink now to 2040 (October 2023).
