Chateau St. Georges is an architectural marvel sitting at the top of the highest hill in the area, surrounded by 44 hectares of vines. The Chateau has been the beacon of the tiny St. Emilion satellite region of St. Georges St. Emilion ever since its inception centuries ago, and its vines occupy almost a quarter of the total land under vine in the region.

In the bottle here we have an estate blend of 80% Merlot with the remaining 20% split between Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon. The classic right-bank wine comes from densely planted vines (the appellation minimum is 5500 vines per hectare) producing a concentrated, robust and elegant red with black cherries, vibrant acidity and fine tannin.
