This wine from a small, 3 hectare plot on the estate is truly one of the world's great examples of Cabernet Franc. Eight generations of custodians looked after the estate since its foundation in 1664 until its sale in 2017 when the Bouygues family took the reigns with great care and respect for the history of the place.

Red and black fruits mixed with spices and a distinct floral character that other producers struggle to get. Burgundy purists will hate me for saying this, but to me quality Cab Franc drinks like an exceptional Burg. That razor-sharp clarity is what makes Burgundy so wonderful, and it continues to draw us to this one too.

This wine is extremely limited, so if you want it in your cellar, get it while you can.
