One of the three - soon to be four - of Guigal's famous 'La Las', Landonne is always 100% Shiraz that comes from a plot on the Cote Brune and is aged for 42 months in 100% new oak barriques.  Yet despite this massive amount of oak, the fruit completely absorbs it entirely, providing the power and structure without the oak flavour.  Landonne always requires the most time in bottle to fully-reveal its potential, and this vintage should be left carefully in the cellar until perhaps 2030, where it will emerge and provide maximum pleasure.
