A (very) brief history on the producer:

The label's namesake Armand Rousseau founded the Domaine in 1909 after inheriting a small plot of vines and immediately set to work in bottling his own wine - a revolutionary idea in Burgundy at the time.

Today the third and fourth generation of Rousseaus run the operation, with Eric and his daughter Cyrielle Rousseau acting as the current custodians.

The label currently have a bit over 14 hectares of holdings in Burgundy with more than half of that coming from Grand Cru vineyards.
