The domaine used to own three parcels in the enormous Clos de Vougeot vineyard - two near the chateau high on the slope, and a third toward the bottom of the vineyard near the RN 74. However they considered the fruit from this third plot inferior, as the land did not drain well and was accordingly frequently too wet to produce exceptional fruit, so this plot was sold in the early 2000s. Today the two remaining plots in the 'Les Chioure' and 'Garenne' sectors) total 0.69 hectare and the vines have an average age of 70+ years.
