A beautifully polished Syrah with plenty of muscle, but not too much heaviness. Dark blackberry, cassis and black cherry sit alongside violet, cracked pepper, smoked meat and a touch of graphite. The palate is rich and savoury, with juicy acidity, fine grained tannins and a lovely sense of freshness keeping all that dark fruit in check. Deep, peppery and wonderfully persistent.
