A wonderfully taut and quietly expressive Riesling with plenty of personality beneath its composed exterior. Lime, green apple and ripe peach are joined by white flowers, fresh herbs and a distinctive wet stone character. The palate is lean but surprisingly textured, with electric acidity, a hint of savouriness and a gentle phenolic grip adding depth. There is a lovely salty, mineral quality that builds towards the finish, leaving citrus and crushed stone lingering long after the last sip. Precise, energetic and just a little bit eccentric.
