Block 5 is a half-hectare north-facing plot planted on that famous quartz soil that runs through the Macedon Ranges, giving the wines that signature minerality. Out of the Bindi range, the Block 5 is known for higher tannin and a power unique to this block.

Block 5 spends about 15-17 months on oak (about 35% new) but due to the power of the fruit, the oak is not the defining character of the wine.

This wine makes an excellent addition to your cellar and will improve for many years to come.

Production typically varies from 150 - 200 dozen per vintage.
