The mighty Cannubi vineyard on the hill of Barolo has produced some of the tiny region's most famous wines, and this highly sought after example from Barolo powerhouse Chiara Boschis is one of those wines people scramble for.

Situated in the heart of the Cannubi hill looking over the town of Barolo, the Boschis plot is a mixture of Tortonian (chalky clay soils) and Helvetian (loose, sandy soils) and is renowned for producing long-lived, powerful wines.

This wine has a rich, ripe nose with a hint of mint, while on the palate it is powerful and tannic. An incredible pairing with game meats, mature cheese and anything with truffle.

This is a wine made for aging, but like you might regularly hear us say in the store, if you crack open a wine designed for aging tonight, you're going to have a good time.
