The cool-climate North Canterbury region produces wines of crispness, delicate florals and a hint of salinity, and the North Canterbury Chardonnay embodies this beautifully.
The fruit was hand picked and hand sorted, crushed as whole bunches and gently pressed before being fermented in 23% new French oak and then left on lees for a year or so giving the wine an exceptional texture.
