Domaine Rostaing isn't one of those French domaines that can claim centuries of quality winemaking. In fact, the Domaine's founder Rene Rostaing worked in real estate before taking the plunge in wine. But from 1996 his wines from the Côte Rôtie have been synonymous with quality.

Rostaing's house style has a certain elegance to it. Powerful but somewhat lithe. Tannic but not overbearing in its youth. The wine is packed with fruit ranging from dark berries to bright cherries with a touch of aromatic finesse that only the true masters of Syrah can draw out.
