Te Mata's 'Coleraine' is one of the great non-French Bordeaux blends - a must have in anyone's cellar.

In 2022, this Hawke's Bay icon was made from 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and a little 3% splash of Cabernet Franc.

Vibrant, acidic and powerful but integrated tannins are the norm here and according to Te Mata's own cellaring guide, these have a lot of improvement ahead of them. It goes without saying, however, that the rounded and balanced fruit is an absolute pleasure to drink in its youth.
