The 'Les Murgers' premier cru vineyard is located in the northern sector of the village of Nuits St.-Georges, and Domaine Hudelot-Noellat own an impressive 0.7 hectares.  This particular vintage bottling comes from a much smaller selection of less than 0.25 hectares of vines averaging 80 years of age, as the domaine made the decision to remove the majority of their plantings as it considered them to be of an inferior clonal selection.
