Bindi's Darshan is current Bindi custodian Michael Dhillon's tribute to his father Bill Darshan Singh Dhillon who founded Bindi back in the 80s. Bill passed away in 2013, and the first vintage to bear his image was released in 2017.

The close-planted vineyard is fairly young (planting started in 2014), but the wines it produces show extreme concentration and density with ripe fruit and a signature lengthy finish.

The Darshan vineyard is an experiment in extremely close planting with most of the vineyard being planted at 11,300 vines per hectare, and about 20% of the area planted at an astonishing 22,600 vines per hectare.

After fermentation the wine spends about 15-17 months in French barrels (about 35% new). The wine is extremely limited with not much more than 100 dozen released each year.
