Produced from a plot totalling almost 1.3 hectares of 40+ year-old vines, Dujac's Clos Saint-Denis is always a more restrained, svelte and graceful expression of Morey St.-Denis than its sibline, Clos de la Roche. In 2023 is a more powerful, black-fruited and richly expressive release than usual, although still retains medium-bodied, silky, fine-grained tannins and beautiful fresh acidity. Exceptional length of finish, this really needs a decade or so in the cellar to begin to reveal it's full potential.
Other critics: 94-96 points, William Kelley (Wine Advocate); 93-95 points, Neal Martin (Vinous).
