Back in 1984, a young Elisabetta Foradori produced her first vintage for the family winery, ushering in a new era for the Northern Italian region of Trentino.

Focusing on indigenous varieties Nosoiola, Manzoni Bianco and Teroldego, Foradori took the workhorse grapes largely going into bulk production and grew and vinified them with great care.

Four decades later, her wines are known for their elegance and finesse, with a distinct fruit profile.

Morei - the name of the vineyard that produces this wine - is "dark" in the local dialect, and it is a wine that is brooding, deep and rich. The fruit is pure and untouched by the maturation in amphora. It is truly one of the most distinct wines available today.
