Grape: Albariño

You'll find Albariño vines in the Northwest-Spanish region of Rias Baixas with vineyards right up to the Atlantic Ocean directly north of the Portuguese border.

Great Albariño producers like Pentecostes take the razor sharp crispness inherent to the grape and add depth with texture and salinity. We highly recommend pairing this as the locals would: razor clams, oysters and a local fried octopus and paprika dish known as pulpo.
