This is not your classic New Zealand Sauv Blanc. Pyramid Valley - located in North Canterbury near the city of Christchurch - take fruit from two different vineyards, add a touch of skin contact and malolactic fermentation and the result is a delicious, textural and food-friendly wine with an elegance and complexity far beyond what its price tag suggests.

The '+' in the name 'Sauvignon+' is in reference to the touch of Pinot Gris that is sometimes blended in. In 2023, however, it was all Sauv Blanc.
