Arnaud Lambert's 'Midi' is a Chenin Blanc with a complexity betraying its modest price point.

Taken from a sandy plot at the base of the Saumur lieu-dit Brézé, this wine is vinified without sulphur in a combination of stainless steel, ceramic eggs and amphorae. It goes through 100% malolactic fermentation, but that doesn't dull its razor-sharp precision.

An excellent wine that would be a masterful sidepiece to some pork sausages, roast veggies or more lively vegetarian dishes.
