A wonderfully energetic Grüner Veltliner with a slightly wild streak and plenty of personality. Green pear, lemon peel and white peach mingle with fresh herbs, citrus blossom and the unmistakable crack of white pepper. The palate is bright and juicy, but there is a lovely textural grip beneath the fruit, with fine lees giving the wine a gentle savoury richness. Steely acidity and a touch of mineral salinity keep everything moving towards a long, mouth watering finish. Fresh, spicy and just a little bit untamed, this is Grüner with its sleeves rolled up.
