A beautifully expressive Juliénas with plenty of classic Gamay charm and a touch of earthy sophistication. Fragrant aromas of blackberry, plum and crushed raspberry mingle with violet, liquorice and a hint of warm spice. The palate is supple and rounded, with juicy acidity, fine tannins and a lovely savoury quality beneath the fruit. There is a satisfying depth to the finish, leaving notes of dark berries, spice and mineral lingering on the palate. A wonderfully convivial red that rewards good food and great company.
