A bright and energetic Gamay that manages to be both seriously good and extremely hard to resist. Crunchy red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry lead into violets, fresh herbs and a little cracked pepper, with a lovely stony mineral note running underneath. The palate is juicy and vibrant, with brisk acidity, soft tannins and plenty of fresh red fruit. Light on its feet but far from lacking character, this is the sort of red that practically begs to be served on an alfresco in the sun and enjoyed with great company.
