The 2024 Joh. Jos. ("JJ") Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese is a wine that with careful cellaring you could share with your yet-to-be-born grandchildren.

The vintage had some weather challenges across the Mosel, but these challenges appear to have been usurped once again by Prüm's Midas touch. Coming from the steep slopes at the producer's plot in the iconic Wehlener Sonnenuhr (the Sundial of Wehlen) vineyard, this Auslese is a medium-sweet, luscious wine with an intense concentration of stone fruit, orange citrus and spice.

The wines are excellent in their youth and perfection in maturity.

If you are worried about aging a half bottle, don't. While it is true that half bottles will age slightly faster, the difference here will be that it will reach maturity in 30 years instead of 40.

These bottles are extremely limited.
