2024 Main Ridge Estate 'The Acre' Pinot Noir
Grape: Pinot Noir
Main Ridge Estate is one of the most historic wineries on the Mornington Peninsula. When it was planted in 1975 by founders Nat and Rosalie White, there were barely any vines in a region that would soon become known as a global source of quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
It was taken over by the Sexton family in 2015 and they have taken the winery from strength to strength.
The label's famed 'Acre' Pinot Noir comes from a (you guessed it) one acre block at the winery site and produces a luscious, full-bodied Peninsula pinot with ripe fruit and a veritable garden of spices.
Drink this now, or hold it in your cellar for longer than you think. It has a lot of life to give.
