It's a style that is often pre-judged by professionals and amateurs alike, but along comes a winemaker whose roots in the Barossa span generation. Ex-Torbreck winemaker Dan Standish makes powerful wines, with intense concentration of dark fruit rarely seen anywhere else.

If you're looking for Shiraz to go the distance in the cellar, this is an absolute must. Absolutely bursting with fruit in its youth, but with an awful lot of patience you'll be rewarded with complexity reserved for kings and queens.
