The wines of Domaine Sylvain Cathiard (currently made by third generation winemaker Sebastien Cathiard) are not everyday drops found in every cellar, but their laser-focused, crystal-clear, velvety house style has earned them a genuinely fanatical cult following.

This is only the fourth vintage of this wine (2021 being the first vintage). It comes from a small 2.5 hectare series of plots located at 350m above sea level in the village of Villars Fontaine not far from Nuits-Saint-Georges.

This is a fruit-forward wine with a highly sought after freshness that is ready to drink now, or a short stint in a cellar will give it a hint of tertiary earthiness.
