Salo is the brainchild of Yarra Valley icons Steve Flamsteed (ex-Giant Steps, Eldridge Estate) and Dave Mackintosh (Arfion).

The wine is made predominantly from the cooler vineyards of the upper-Yarra - an area of foothills of the beginning of the Great Dividing Range (the same mountain range that you can see from Cairns!), which gives it a vibrant freshness that is offset by meticulously crafted oak use.

The label has been going for 17 years, but people have been slow to cotton on. The buzz is building though. Grab these before they're too hard to find!
