Stonier was one of the original pioneers of the modern era of the Mornington Peninsula, and their Reserve Pinot Noir is a piece of Peninsula history.

While Brian and Noel Stonier sold the label in 1999 to Adelaide Hills producer Petaluma, but in 2022 it returned to the hands of locals once again - the Drummond, McLeod and Thickens families. Since 2022, the label has very quickly jettisoned back to its glory days, with this Pinot marking its spot as one of the region's best.

Think powerful, ripe Peninsula fruit with a dash of violets, a cacophony of spices, fine and integrated tannins that are prominent but not overpowering and a great finish and you're in the ballpark. A few years in a cellar will see this evolve into something truly special.
