A beautifully focused Riesling that combines the generosity of ripe Mosel fruit with the cool, stony character of the Goldtröpfchen vineyard. White peach, pear and lemon curd sit alongside smoky slate, wild herbs and a subtle struck match note. The palate is bone dry and tightly wound, with bright acidity, fine texture and a lovely mineral tension that gives the wine real drive. Fresh, precise and quietly powerful, with a long finish of citrus, stone and savoury spice. A serious Riesling, but one that knows how to have a good time.
